Yousuf Karsh 1908-2002) is from the 20th century photographers. His work includes variety of portraits such as artists, musicians, authors, scientists, and etc Yousuf was one of the most famous as an portrait photographers of all time.
He says ” My chief joy is to photograph the great in heart, in mind, and in spirit, whether they be famous or humble” -
The reason why I chose Yusuf was because he did celebrity photography the famous photos of famous people like Muhammad Ali, W.Churchil etc.
He did a variety of photography not only celebrities, which made me more interested in his photographer, he is out of the top 5 best photographers in the world.
I like his work and images all of his images are shot in black & white.
Another thing which amazed me about Yusuf Karsh was he only shot in portrait never had he ever did a landscape picture. He is definently my favourite photographer no one can take his place.
